Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inducts N.C. A&T Alumna, Trailblazer Howroyd as Honorary Member

Janice Bryant Howroyd, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University alumna and trailblazing entrepreneur, has been inducted as an Honorary Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She was honored at the sorority’s 57th National Convention along with seven other distinguished leaders and trailblazers spanning across multiple industries.

Transportation Secretary Buttigieg, Gov. Cooper Tout A&T Transportation Innovation

U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg joined Gov. Roy Cooper on Tuesday to visit the transportation research facility at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Gateway Research Park North Campus. Gateway North houses a diverse fleet of connected autonomous vehicles and one of the nation’s first rural test tracks for testing and developing autonomous vehicles. 

N.C. A&T Transportation Centers Host Successful Two-Day Symposium

The Center for Advanced Transportation Mobility (CATM) and the Center for Regional & Rural Connected Communities (CR2C2) at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University hosted a two-day Joint University Transportation Center (UTC) Symposium April 17-18, marking the final year of funded activities for CATM and the first annual event since CR2C2’s launching.

N.C. A&T Awarded $200K NSF Grant to Establish Digital Badge Program, Advance STEM Education

A team at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University received a $200,000 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to implement a digital badge program which seeks to increase the competitive science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skillsets of students entering the transportation workforce and transportation graduate school programs.

A&T, Corning Kick Off Five-Year, $5.5M Partnership
