Laquanda Johnson, Ph.D., professor in North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics, has received a Fulbright grant to Cameroon. During a month-long visit, Johnson will teach lectures and establish a framework for international research partnerships between North Carolina A&T and the National Advanced School of Public Works in Yaoundé. Through her project, “Entrepreneurship, Supply Chains, and Project Management: Enhancing the Pipeline of Engineering Management Students,” she will collaborate with faculty and students to strengthen interdisciplinary training between business and engineering. Johnson will lead seminars on purchasing and supply management, operations management and project management while exploring opportunities for joint research. Her Fulbright award highlights A&T’s commitment to global scholarship, innovation and expanding international academic partnerships for students and faculty.
