EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Dec. 20, 2023) – Triad Business Journal (TBJ) has named three North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University alumni and a faculty member to its 2024 class of 40 Under 40 award winners.
The group represents a broad array of industries including real estate, construction, law, health care, biotech, technology, manufacturing and education.
Honorees were selected from a competitive group of nominees and represent a group of leaders who are making great contributions to the Triad Region all before age 40.
Among them are Brandon Frederick ’16, Stephanie Teixeira-Poit, Ph.D., Canisha Cierra Turner ‘14 and Clinton Wilson ’10 '18, Ph.D.
Frederick, who earned his B.S. in applied engineering technology from N.C. A&T, serves engineering manager for Core Technology Molding Corp., where he is one of the founders of its Molding Kids for Success program.
Teixeira-Poit is an associate professor of sociology in the John R. and Kathy R. Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences and serves as associate director of community engagement in A&T’s Center of Excellence for Integrative Health Disparities and Equity Research (CIHDER).
Turner, who earned her B.S. in agricultural business and served as Student Government Association president at A&T, is owner and CEO of Executive Reign and serves on the university’s Alumni Convention Board.
Wilson, who earned his M.S. in counselor education and Ph.D. in leadership studies and adult education from A&T, serves as chief officer of student services for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
TBJ will celebrate the 40 award winners Feb. 22, 2024, at the Nido and Mariana Qubein Arena and Conference Center at High Point University, as well as in a special printed section Feb. 23, 2024.
