Aggies to Meet Hundreds of Employers at “Greatest Career Fair Ever”

EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Sept. 9, 2026) – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will welcome hip-hop artist Gunna and gospel music icon Kirk Franklin as headliners of the Hip-Hop/R&B and Gospel concerts, respectively, during the 100th edition of the Greatest Homecoming on Earth.
The milestone celebration commemorates a century of homecoming traditions that have brought generations of Aggies together and celebrates the music, culture, community and Aggie Pride that have become hallmarks of N.C. A&T’s Homecoming experience.
Hip-Hop/R&B Concert
The Centennial Greatest Homecoming on Earth Hip-Hop/R&B Concert will take place Saturday, Oct. 31, at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and will star Gunna, with special guest Ella Mai and performances by Yung Miami, KWN and BabyChiefDoit.
Gunna, an Atlanta-born rapper, singer and songwriter, has emerged as one of contemporary hip-hop’s prominent artists, building a catalog known for melodic delivery and collaborations across hip-hop and popular music.
British R&B singer and songwriter Ella Mai joins the concert as a special guest. Ella Mai rose to international prominence with her breakout single “Boo’d Up,” followed by songs including “Trip,” and has established herself as a leading voice in contemporary R&B.
The lineup also features rapper and media personality Yung Miami, known as one-half of the hip-hop duo City Girls as well as for her solo work; British R&B artist KWN; and rising Chicago rapper BabyChiefDoit.
Gospel Concert
Centennial Homecoming will conclude Sunday, Nov. 1, with the Aggie Homecoming Gospel Show at Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Greensboro. Two performances are scheduled for 1 and 6:30 p.m.
The Gospel Show will feature Kirk Franklin, with special guest Kierra Sheard Kelly and a performance by the North Carolina A&T Fellowship Gospel Choir.
Franklin has been a defining figure in contemporary gospel music for more than three decades as an artist, songwriter, producer and choir director. His work has helped bridge gospel and contemporary popular music, with a catalog that includes “Stomp,” “Revolution,” “Imagine Me” and “I Smile.”
Kelly is a gospel singer, songwriter and actress who has built a successful career of her own while continuing a celebrated gospel music legacy. The daughter of Karen Clark Sheard of The Clark Sisters, she has released numerous solo projects and collaborated with artists throughout gospel and contemporary Christian music.
The Hip-Hop/R&B and Gospel concerts are part of A&T’s weeklong celebration of the 100th edition of the Greatest Homecoming on Earth, which begins Sunday, Oct. 25, and continues through Sunday, Nov. 1.
Ticket Information
A&T students will receive priority access to specially priced tickets for the Homecoming Step Show, Hip-Hop/R&B Concert and Gospel Concert beginning Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. General public ticket sales for the off-campus homecoming events will begin Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m.
A&T students may purchase a maximum of two tickets per off-campus event, providing students the opportunity to purchase an additional ticket for a guest.

General public tickets for the Hip-Hop/R&B Concert will be available through Ticketmaster. Additional ticketing information for Centennial Homecoming events will be available through A&T.
The Hip-Hop/R&B and Gospel concerts are among several student-centered programs planned as part of the university’s Centennial Homecoming celebration. Additional events include the Coronation of Mister and Miss A&T, Homecoming Step Show, Centennial Homecoming Parade and Greek Plots Tailgate. For students, events include Sheaversity Campus Yard Activation, Nightmare on Market Street – Haunted Carnival, The Aggie Touchdown – Centennial Jersey Giveaway, Lights Out – Gym Jam and Ayanteed UP – Homecoming Pep Rally.
