A new live streaming video podcast from the All Aggies, All In Capital Campaign, North Carolina A&T State University and the Aggie Athletic Foundation is officially underway.
The first episode of the Aggie Effect Live streamed Monday, Sept. 21, on YouTube, with hosts Xavier Burton and Giana Seay interviewing former Chicago Bears star Tarik Cohen, Aggies head football Coach Shawn Gibbs, father-son Aggie football greats Alan and Alston Hooker and more.
Five more episodes of the podcast’s first season will follow, with a new show streaming each Monday night at 7 p.m. through A&T’s 100the anniversary homecoming week in late October. Aggie fans who missed the debut can still catch it on YouTube. In fact, every episode will be available in perpetuity on the streaming platform, along with excerpts, interview segments behind-the-scenes moments from the shows.
The All Aggies, All In campaign kicked off early last fall and recently wrapped up a successful first year, having raised $3.6 million in cash and pledges, including A&T Athletics’ largest-ever single gift from Geoff and Tonya Foster, owners of the Greensboro-based Core Technology advanced manufacturing firm.
All Aggies, All In also attracted 1,000 new donors to A&T Athletics, one-third of them younger donors, as part of the campaign’s goal to build a new culture of philanthropic support.
Funds being raised go exclusively to student athlete scholarships, growing Aggie Athletics revenue at a time of increasing expenses for D1 athletics programs, including name, image and likeness costs.
Individuals interested in making a gift to the All Aggies, All In campaign can do so now through the university’s online giving portal.
