N.C. A&T Names Galloway Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement Operations

EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (July 24, 2026) – A higher education advancement leader with more than three decades of experience in advancing institutional goals through technology, data governance and fundraising operations has been appointed associate vice chancellor for Advancement Operations at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, following a competitive national search, Vice Chancellor for University Advancement Tamara Michel Josserand, M.Ed., MBA, announced today.

Rosalyn Galloway comes to N.C. A&T from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham, North Carolina, where she serves as assistant vice chancellor for Advancement Services. During her tenure there, she significantly enhanced advancement operations systems and established successful fundraising platforms, greatly improving efficiencies, stewardship, donor reporting and donor satisfaction. She also most recently co-chaired the NCCU Data Governance Council.

She begins her new role at N.C. A&T on Aug. 3.

“Ms. Galloway is known for her collaborative engagement throughout campus communities and has successfully led advancement operations teams in improving systems for fundraising success,” said Josserand. “Her broad experience across the state, within higher education as well as success within the North Carolina system will be invaluable as we work to strengthen and grow our engagement with our wonderful A&T alumni and friends, community partners, corporate stakeholders and industry leaders. We are excited to welcome her to the Aggie family.”

At A&T, Galloway will lead the technology infrastructure and data operations of the Division of University Advancement. She will serve as the senior technology strategist for a robust fundraising operation that secures over 20,000 gifts annually from alumni and friends and manages a total database exceeding 100,000 records.

Galloway brings significant expertise in leading technology platforms to her role, having co-led the strategic direction, governance and enterprise implementation for the Salesforce platform for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

She also served as the Student Information System director ​​for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, where she helped manage the operations of the largest public K–12 technology deployment in North Carolina. Galloway has also served in advancement and network operations leadership roles for Asheville City Schools, Mountain Area Health Education Center, UNC-Asheville and Western Carolina University.

Galloway holds a B.S in business administration from Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina. She is also a certified government chief information officer. Her professional affiliations include the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), EDUCAUSE, Women in Cybersecurity, the N.C. Project Management Institute, the Association of Advancement Services Professionals and the ATO, Inc. charitable foundation.

Galloway is among the most recent hires in a university-wide refresh of A&T’s administrative leadership under Chancellor James R. Martin II. Over the past 1 ½ years, Martin has hired a new provost, re-filled virtually every Cabinet position and brought in numerous new associate and assistant vice chancellors and directors, as well as four new deans.
