EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (May 21, 2026) – Campus Enterprises at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has been recognized with top honors at the 2025 Collegiate Advertising Awards, bringing home both gold and silver distinctions for innovative and impactful marketing in higher education.
The Gold Award was presented in the “Other/Miscellaneous Material: Special Promotional Materials” category for the newly designed Starship Technologies autonomous delivery robots, now wrapped in Aggie blue and gold. As the first university in North Carolina to feature branded Starship robots, North Carolina A&T continues to set the pace for campus innovation and Aggie Pride.
“We are incredibly proud to see Campus Enterprises recognized on a national level for work that reflects the creativity, innovation, and dedication of our team. These awards represent more than outstanding marketing work; they showcase our commitment to enhancing the student experience and creating impactful engagement across campus,” said Demetria Burton Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Enterprises. “From the Aggie-branded Starship robots to Late Night Breakfast, each initiative was designed with our Aggies at the center, and it is rewarding to see those efforts celebrated.”
The updated wraps—unveiled during the 2025 “Greatest Homecoming on Earth” celebration—feature the rallying message “Move forward with purpose!” and reflect a unique blend of technology, school spirit and alumni achievement.
Campus Enterprises also earned a Silver Award in the Special Events category for its signature
“Late Night Breakfast, a campus tradition held on the final day of classes. The Fall 2025 edition featured “A Night in Vegas,” transforming the event into a vibrant, Las Vegas-inspired celebration.
The Collegiate Advertising Awards honor excellence in higher education communications, marketing, advertising, and promotional efforts across the United States and Canada. A national panel of industry experts evaluates entries based on creativity, design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal.
Along with Featherstone, key contributors to the award-winning projects were Ikara Mcdonald, Jaiden Wilkins, Marcela Betancourth, Troi Hummes, Jomo Legins and D’Andra Drewitt.
