EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (June 17, 2024) – The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Board of Trustees will hold a special called meeting on Thursday, June 20, at 10 a.m.

Harmandeep Sharma, Ph.D., has been awarded a two-year federal grant of $260,533 to use hyperspectral imaging and artificial intelligence to identify varieties of looseleaf lettuce that can withstand cold and freezing temperatures that damage or kill most crops.
