The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is one of the largest academic unit at North Carolina A&T. Virtually every student at the university passes through one of our six departments, no matter what their major, because the knowledge and coursework our college provides form the heart of a well-rounded education.

If you choose to major in one of our degree programs, you will be well prepared to begin a career in a wide variety of creative and important pursuits. Through excellent instruction, internships, study abroad programs and service-learning opportunities, you will hone your critical thinking skills, engage in contemporary research and develop creative problem-solving abilities. Our graduates are recruited by research institutions, businesses and government agencies. Many continue their studies at some of the most prestigious graduate schools in the country.
