"Shaping storytellers, scholars, and communicators for a changing world"

At NC A&T’s Department of English, we prepare students for careers in media, law, education, and tech. Our programs build critical thinkers and confident writers who know how to lead with language.

Students gain hands-on experience in digital storytelling, multimedia writing, and research across topics like AI, hip-hop, and digital humanities. Whether you're exploring literature or crafting content for the professional world, you’ll find space to grow and a faculty committed to your success.
