The location will be determined by a competitive grant process through the USDA.)
Protect and Increase USDA NIFA Funding (Evans-Allen and Cooperative Extension) (Note: Disparity in funding levels between 1862 and 1890 land-grants despite the mission being the same.)
Increased collaboration/support from federal agencies, including Department of Defense, Department of Commerce, Department of Labor, NASA, the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
