TRiO Support Services

The TRiO Student Support Services Program is a federally funded program that provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and helps motivate students toward the successful completion of their post-secondary education.

Eligibility Criteria

Students selected for the North Carolina A & T State University TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) Program must meet at least one of the following federal requirements:

  1. First-generation college students
  2. Students whose family income falls within the limits set by the U.S. Department of Education
  3. College students with documented disabilities.

  • Financial Grant Aid – For Eligible Students
  • Academic Support & Advising
  • Financial Literacy Education
  • Career & Graduate School Exposure & Exploration
  • Cultural/ Educational Enrichment Activities
  • Study Skills Workshops
  • Summer Bridge Program
  • Living Learning Community
