Welcome to the Center for Undergraduate Research (CUGR) at North Carolina A&T State University!

The Center for Undergraduate Research (CUGR) builds on this proud tradition by empowering every Aggie to engage in meaningful scholarly and creative work that makes a difference. 

Our mission is to support, promote, and celebrate undergraduate research across all disciplines. We believe that research is not just about finding answers, it’s about cultivating curiosity, developing leadership, and shaping solutions that serve our communities and the world. 

At CUGR, we provide a trajectory of research-based experiences that prepare students to thrive in graduate school, industry, and civic life. From hands-on projects and faculty mentorship to national and international research opportunities, our programs are designed to elevate Aggie Excellence at every stage.
