Writers Transform Writers!

The University Writing Center (UWC) is dedicated to fostering a community of critical writers and critical thinkers in accordance with the University’s mission to engage “high-achieving scholars” in life-changing pedagogical practices. Hence, our motto is Writers Transform Writers!

The UWC strives to provide high-quality service to the NC A&T community. To attain this goal, writing consultants support writers through in-person and online synchronous conferences and outreach programs such as presentations, workshops, and course-embedded consultations. Because we believe writing is a way of learning, we assist writers at any stage of their writing processes—prewriting, brainstorming, researching, drafting, revising, or publishing—and with any writing concept.
