New Student Orientation (NSO)

The Office of Orientation and New Student Programs guides all transfer students through a successful orientation experience. Transfer students 21 and younger may attend the First Time Freshman NSO if they wish. Transfer students 21 and older attend Transfer NSO sessions only.

Please visit our New Student Orientation Page to view both FTF and Transfer NSO dates, stay up to date, and access the registration link. If you have any questions, contact our office—we are here to support your transition.

Your NSO Digital Hub: Raftr

To make your transition even smoother, all incoming students are added to our Raftr: New Student Orientation Page, an interactive platform created specifically for first-time students attending NSO.

On Raftr, you can:

  • Access important information about NSO, Welcome Week, and campus resources

  • Stay updated on schedules, reminders, and announcements

  • Connect with peers from your class

  • Engage with our Aggie Success Leaders (ASLs) who are ready to answer questions and support you

  • Explore tips, checklists, and student-to-student advice

Raftr is a great resource to explore leading up to your orientation—it will help you feel more confident, connected, and prepared before stepping on campus.
