Important Update: Summer 2026 Orientation Guest Attendance Modification
Due to renovations on campus, the Office of Orientation and New Student Programs will implement a temporary guest limit for Summer 2026 Orientation only. The renovation significantly reduces the available space for large gatherings throughout the summer.
To maintain the quality, safety, and integrity of the orientation experience:
-
Each incoming student may register ONE guest for in-person Summer 2026 Orientation.
-
This modification applies only to Summer 2026 New Student Orientation sessions.
Support for Families Unable to Attend In Person
We understand the importance of family involvement and are committed to ensuring all families receive the information they need to support their student. To accommodate families who cannot attend in person, the University will offer:
-
Virtual Parent & Family Information Sessions throughout Spring 2026
- Dates will be shared by February 15, 2026
-
A new Online Orientation for Parents and Guests, available throughout Summer 2026
- Dates will be shared by February 15, 2026
These options will provide the same essential information shared during in-person Orientation.
