New Student Orientation (NSO) registration for new undergraduate students (enrolling in main campus degree programs) is open! See below for helpful tips to prepare you for orientation!

  • First thing's first! Be sure to follow your admitted student checklist via the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.  This checklist is your guide to successfully completing the enrollment process at NCAT!
  • Always check your university email for the latest information. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Orientation & New Student Programs via email at orient@ncat.edu.  We are always here to assist!
  • Our orientation and first-year programs are scheduled as hybrid experiences for new students, meaning - we will provide some content before you arrive on campus via our online pre orientation system and welcome you with in-person programming upon your arrival and throughout the first-year.
  • Follow New Student Programs on Instagram @ncatnsp to meet your incoming class peers and engage with our student leaders!

The mandatory New Student Orientation (NSO) occurs before the Fall and Spring semesters to introduce new students to many aspects of the University including student life, academic policies and the student code. The goal of each New Student Orientation session is to make our students feel at home the moment they step on campus.

Our New Student Orientation program is led by a dedicated staff of professionals and extensively trained student leaders. Each student leader is hand selected and knows a wealth of information about the University.
