Join us for Family Weekend 2026 as we celebrate Aggie Pride and create unforgettable memories with the people who support our students the most. Family Weekend offers a variety of opportunities for families and supporters to connect with the university community, enjoy special events, and experience campus life firsthand.

New for 2026: À La Carte Registration

This year, Family Weekend registration is moving to an à la carte model, giving families more flexibility than ever before. Start with the Family Weekend Base Package and customize your weekend by selecting the events, activities, and exclusive merchandise that best fit your family's interests.

Family Weekend Base Package Includes:

  • Customized Family Weekend T-Shirt

  • Two Meals

  • Meet & Greet Admission

  • Tailgate Admission

Optional À La Carte Add-Ons:

  • Football Game Ticket

  • Aggie Family Brunch Admission

  • Additional Meal Tickets

  • Exclusive Family Weekend Merchandise

  • Specialty Experiences and Activities

Registration Information

Registration, package pricing, and add-on costs will be announced soon. Families will be able to select the experiences and items that matter most to them, creating a Family Weekend experience tailored to their interests.

Family Weekend Check-In & Meet & Greet

Kick off Family Weekend by checking in and officially joining the celebration! Families and supporters will have the opportunity to pick up their Family Weekend materials, exclusive swag items, and event information while connecting with fellow Aggies and Aggie families from across the country.

Enjoy an evening filled with sweet treats, great music, fun activities, and plenty of Aggie spirit as you mix, mingle, and make new connections. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning family member, this is the perfect opportunity to relax, socialize, and get excited for an unforgettable Family Weekend experience. We can't wait to welcome you to campus and celebrate the Aggie family together!

 

Game Day Tailgate: Food, Fun, and Aggie Spirit!

Get ready for a family-friendly tailgate like no other as we gear up to cheer on the Aggies! Before the big game, join us for an afternoon packed with high energy, great food, and unforgettable memories.

The Tailgate Experience will include:

  • Delicious options from local food trucks
  • Face painters and caricature artists for kids and adults alike
  • A live DJ spinning your favorite hits
  • Fun games and activities for the whole family

Whether you're dancing to the music, grabbing a bite, or making memories at the photo booth, this is the place to be before kickoff. Put on your blue and gold, bring your Aggie spirit, and let’s show the University of Rhode Island how we tailgate!

Sunday Farewell Brunch: Celebrating Legacy, Love & New Beginnings

As we close out an unforgettable Family & Friends Weekend, we invite you to join us for a beautiful farewell brunch filled with music, memories, and Aggie Pride.

Enjoy a delicious meal while a live cover band sets the tone with smooth sounds and feel-good favorites. It’s the perfect way to reflect on the weekend, connect with new friends, and soak in the spirit of the Aggie family one last time before heading home.
