Special Opportunities

The Office of Intercultural Engagement (OIE) provides a variety of opportunities designed to support the academic, personal, and leadership success of all students at North Carolina A&T State University. These programs and services are open to the entire campus community and are intended to foster learning, belonging, and engagement in ways that strengthen the overall student experience.

 

Opportunities include:

  • Campus Programs & Discussions – Educational activities that encourage dialogue, reflection, and community building.
  • Advising & Support for Student Groups – Guidance for student-led and special interest organizations to help them succeed and contribute positively to campus life.
  • Leadership Development – Workshops, retreats, and training opportunities that prepare students for leadership roles on campus and beyond.
  • Mentoring Programs – Peer support and guidance through OIE Student Ambassadors and True Colors initiatives.
  • Service Learning Opportunities – Hands-on experiences that connect academic learning with meaningful community engagement.
  • OIE Resource Library – Books, videos, and materials available for personal growth, academic support, and cultural learning.
  • Educational Trainings & Presentations – Interactive sessions on inclusive community building.
  • Meditation & Reflection Spaces – Open spaces for meditation, reflection, and prayer are available to all students:
