Closing Bell Speaker Series

The Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics began the Closing Bell Speaker Series (CBSS) in September 2008. The program brings successful professionals to the Deese College to engage students, faculty, staff, and the community in topical discussions that reflect the changing global business environment. The primary objectives of the CBSS are to:

  • Provide insight on the current trends and occurrences impacting businesses, organizations, and processes.
  • Inspire students, faculty, and the community as well as provide encouragement for quality personal and career development and positive societal impact.
  • Enrich and transform students’ lives by providing them with role models, mentors, and champions in the careers for which they are preparing.
