INTRODUCING THE BENEFITS SERVICE CENTER

 

Effective immediately, all employee benefits services will be managed through the new Benefits Service Center.

N.C. A&T State University is pleased to announce the transition of employee benefits administration from the Division of Human Resources to the Benefits Service Center. This change is part of our ongoing effort to enhance efficiency, consistency, and accessibility in the delivery of benefits support to all employees.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  

This new model will provide N.C. A&T Faculty and Staff easy access to experienced Benefits Service Center staff for counseling and support for all

  • Employee benefits (e.g. medical, supplemental health, and income protection plans),
  • Retirement,
  • Work/life program (e.g. educational assistance and wellness programs), and
special leaves (e.g. FMLA, Paid Parental, Disability, Faculty Serious Illness, and Educational or Professional leave types).
  • The Division of Human Resources will continue to manage the coding of your leave usage (vacation, sick, etc.) for you to remain in a paid status.

  • Employees will continue to receive the same level of personalized support—now through a centralized and streamlined service model.
