A2i: Information for Students
The Accelerate to Industry (A2i) program helps N.C. A&T graduate students obtain the workforce skills and experience they need to succeed in a dynamic industry career path. Students will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders as they prepare for their future after graduate school.
A2i Industry Immersion Series (Held Each Summer)
The A2i Immersion Series is a 2-3 day intensive experiential learning experience that prepares our graduate students for the corporate environment. The series includes signature A2i content along with events and activities unique to the Immersion Series. Students must apply to be considered. Selected applicants will be chosen to participate.
Highlights include:
- Interactive workshops
- On campus company career expo
- Virtual resume and LinkedIn feedback sessions
- Networking sessions and career panels
- Resume included in Industry Partners Resume Booklet
Student Requirements:
- Attend all components of the Immersion Series
- Attend at least two Immersion Series Prep Workshops
- Submit resume to Office of Career Services for review and approval
How to Apply:
- Complete the Immersion Series Application Form (the form will be shared during the next application cycle)
- Submit letter of support from advisor to A2i Selection Committee Chair, Dr. Ayanna Boyd (email)
- Provide permission to access your current resume from the Office of Career Services to include in A2i Industry Partners Resume Booklet
Selection Process:
- Student selections will be made by A2i Industry Partners.
Participation Fee:
- Students selected to participate in the Immersion Series will pay a $20 participation fee after selection. The Participation Fee partially covers the cost of the A2i t-shirt and materials.
