Classroom Technology

Classroom technology is available to capture teaching in on-campus courses to support students participating virtually, and to record teaching for those participating asynchronously. Many classrooms are equipped with a camera and microphone to support blended learning as synchronous or asynchronous. Some classrooms may also include a document camera. Faculty members should continue to use Zoom, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, or Mediasite to record their classes. All faculty must use Blackboard as the learning management system to house course content. Videos should be housed in Mediasite or Zoom. Graduate students and Digital Faculty Fellows are available to assist faculty as needed. Cameras and headsets are available for checkout during the semester.
