Reza Zadegan

Bio

Dr. Zadegan is an expert in writing, editing, and reading nucleic acid based materials. He is a member of SemiSynBio (Semiconductor Synthetic Biology) Consortium and the Roadmap development team focused on merger of Synthetic Biology and Semiconductor industry. One example of this effort is investigation of the potential of DNA-based massive information storage. Dr. Zadegan is trained as a nano-bio engineer, and his research has intentionally merged engineering, molecular biology, nanotechnology, and bioinformatics.

Research Interests

Our research—with focus on synthesis and characterization of nucleic acids-based materials—is applicable in personalized medicine, memory, nanoengineering, and bioengineering.
