Bio

Dr. Spencer Maor Joined the faculty of NCAT in 2011 and served as Department of English Chair for 3 years. She is a writing specialist and has taught English and Journalism courses at several institutions. At NCAT, she teaches both graduate and undergraduate English courses.
Dr. Spencer Maor received the PhD in English from the University of Illinois,Urbana-Champaign, the MA in Journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a BS in Journalism from Florida A&M University.

Rhetoric and Composition, African American Literature of the 19th and early 20th Century, Feminism, Feminism and Composition, American Literature, Composition Pedagogy
