Meet the Staff

Rashanda L. Lowery

Executive Director of Student Activities & Campus Involvement - 3rd Floor, Student Center, Suite 332

Ms. Lowery is a "double eagle" having graduated from North Carolina Central University with her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctor. She joined the North Carolina A&T family in 2005 as the legal specialist in the Office of University General Counsel. For the past 13 years, Ms. Lowery has supported the university by providing leadership, vision, and planning for multifaceted operations that serve the campus community, the Division of Student Affairs, and, ultimately, the Office of Student Activities. She has extensive experience in contract review, negotiation, and has presented on various topics for the campus community. Her promotion to the Executive Director is a result of her being instrumental in working with the OSA staff in developing the department's newly established strategic goals, streamlining office processes, and providing vision and insight for new initiatives.

Kyonna Henry

Assistant Director of Student Activities and Special Projects/SUAB Advisor  3rd Floor, Student Center, Suite 332

Ms.Henry was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia, has a Bachelor's degree in English Education and a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, both from Old Dominion University in Virginia. She's spent the last seven years in Wisconsin working in Multicultural Student Programming. Currently, she serves as the Advisor for the Student University Activities Board and Campus Coordinator to the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge. 

Veronica C. Hairston

Assistant Director of Student Activities/Advisor to the Student Government Association - 3rd Floor, Student Center, Suite 320

Mrs. Hairston was born and raised in the capital city of Richmond, Virginia. She is an Aggie two times over, having received her Bachelor's degree in Family Consumer Sciences in 2009 and a Master's degree in Adult Education. Currently, she serves as an Advisor for the Student Government Association in the Office of Student Activities. Ms. Harrison is the former Historian for the SGA Bass Administration 2008-2009 and a spring 2007 member of the Alpha Phi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Chantea Swinson-Rhoe

Coordinator for Student Clubs and Organizations/Advisor to the Council of Presidents - 3rd Floor, Student Center, Suite 332

Ms. Swinson-Rhoe is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she received two Bachelor's Degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Additionally, she holds a Master's in Higher Education from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. She is directly responsible for the overall management of student clubs and organizations by lending support, guidance, and training, etc. to various students with membership, programs, registration, educational and social events. While providing support for OSA's major campus events, she also serves as the primary advisor to the Council of Presidents (COP).

Sadia Green

Office Manager for Student Activities & Campus Involvement - 3rd Floor, Student Center, Suite 332

 Ms. Sadia was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Bennett College. She also holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education from NC A&T State University. She has spent the last several years in the Registrar’s office here at the university but recently joined the OSA team as the Office Manager.

Wyndon W. Knight

Office Manager for the Student Government Association – 3rd Floor, Student Center, Suite 320

Ms. Knight has diligently served the Student Government Association Office for over 12 years. She is responsible for processing Student Government requisitions, contracts, travel, and more. She is also responsible for reception, Student Government Officer Communications, scheduling meetings, filing, and various administrative duties.
