Rashanda L. Lowery

Executive Director of Student Activities & Campus Involvement

Ms. Lowery is a "double eagle" having graduated from North Carolina Central University with her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctor. She joined the North Carolina A&T family in 2005 as the legal specialist in the Office of Legal Affairs. In 2018 she joined the Office of Student Activities as the Executive Director. Ms. Lowery has supported the university by providing leadership, vision, and planning for multifaceted operations that serve the campus community, the Division of Student Affairs, and, ultimately, the Office of Student Activities. She has extensive experience in contract review, negotiation, and has presented on various topics for the campus community. 


Adalyn Foertsch

Assistant Director of Student Activities/Advisor to the Student University Activities Board/Director of Special Projects

Adalyn Foertsch is originally from Iowa where she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa in History, Teaching. She taught eighth-grade social studies and science for a year before moving to Florida to pursue a master's degree in Student Affairs Administration. While at the University of West Florida, she was the graduate assistant for the campus activities board, where she planned large-scale events.  


Veronica C. Hairston

Mrs. Hairston was born and raised in the capital city of Richmond, Virginia. She is an Aggie two times over, having received her Bachelor's degree in Family Consumer Sciences in 2009 and a Master's degree in Adult Education. Currently, she serves as an Advisor for the Student Government Association in the Office of Student Activities. Mrs. Hairston is the former Historian for the SGA Bass Administration 2008-2009 and a spring 2007 member of the Alpha Phi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

 

Brandon Ratliff

Brandon M. Ratliff, a native of Laurinburg, NC,  is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University and East Carolina University. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America Inc., Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honors Society, and Order Of Omega Greek Honor Society. For almost 15 years, Ratliff has connected and provided leadership development for fraternity men and student organizations as a freelance facilitator for various universities and within his previous roles at East Carolina University and North Carolina Central University.  He seeks to challenge and support students through honest and intentional interaction, empowering them to use their innate talents to foster positive change. 

 

Genevieve Barnes

Genevieve Barnes joined the OSA team in January 2023 and has brought her passion for student-inclusive excellence to her role. Being a two-time HBCU graduate with a B.A. in Communications, M.A. in Communication Studies, and M.S. in Adult Education, Genevieve understands that co-curricular development is essential in the college environment. These degrees work effortlessly in her role as the Assistant Director of Student Activities & Campus Involvement, Council of Presidents Advisor. In this role, Genevieve has the incredible privilege of supporting over 150+ registered student organizations (RSO) and advising the Council of Presidents, which serves as the umbrella group for all RSOs. Her expertise lies in student and leadership development, event planning, and program management. Due to her experience in higher education, she aims to connect, collaborate, and commit to the mission and vision set forth for the institution while using a student-centered mindset to engage our students.


Wyndon W. Knight

Office Manager for the Student Government Association

Ms. Knight has diligently served the Student Government Association Office for over 13 years. She is responsible for processing Student Government requisitions, contracts, travel, and more. She is also responsible for reception, Student Government Officer Communications, scheduling meetings, filing, and various administrative duties.
