Leadership Ethics Seminar Series
The Leadership Studies and Adult Education Department at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is offering a leadership ethics seminar series, “Ethical Leadership, Decision-Making and Research in Modern Times.”
The department, which is housed in N.C. A&T’s College of Education, will present the series that features graduates of the university’s leadership studies doctoral program.
Part three is Monday, Oct. 10, with Karen Martin-Jones ’11 and Sharon Lassiter ’22 on “Leading in Today’s Climate: Working with Organizations to Address Ethics and Biases”
The series is open to N.C. A&T students, staff and faculty. Each part of the virtual series will be from 6 to 8 p.m. The next dates, speakers and topics are:
- Thursday, Oct. 20, Dexter Sharp ’20, “Leading Holistically: Mentoring, Developing and Advocating for Students”
- Thursday, Oct. 27, Demetria Siler ’19, “Ethical Leadership and Decision-Making- A Community College Leadership Perspective,” and Deborah Torain ’21, “The Best Laid plans: Reflections on Getting a Doctorate and Building My Career in Leadership”
