Undergraduate Admissions

The Graduate College

If it appears that you cannot complete the requirements for admission and enrollment by the semester for which you have applied, you may wish to consider deferring your enrollment eligibility to the next full semester. Please contact the appropriate admissions office for details regarding deferment requests.

Admissions Deadlines

Please visit the Undergraduate and/or Graduate Admissions website to confirm admissions application deadlines.

Special Note: Form issuance, visa application, and entry to the United States, as well as reporting to the school after arrival now requires electronic registration in the Student Exchange Visitor Information System maintained by USCIS. Therefore students must enter the U.S. before the last day of class registration of the enrollment semester. Students entering or attempting to enter the U.S. on an I-20 /DS-2019 issued for a begin date in conjunction with approved academic semesters AFTER the last date for approved registration WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE OUT OF STATUS AND MAY BE required to apply for reinstatement and/or face immediate deportation.

If you have questions about the Issuance Deadline dates, please feel free to contact us at (336) 285-2600 or you may email oia@ncat.edu

The University reserves the right to recommend that international applicants request to defer enrollment to the next full semester if an I-20/DS-2019 cannot be issued for the existing acceptance date.
