AFROTC Detachment 605 Alumni

Welcome Detachment 605 Alumni!  You are a part of a long history, dating back to the first commissioning class of 1953, of supplying the Air Force with exceptional officers.  In 2020, we added our first Space Force Guardian to that list.  You have provided the Department of Defense and your communities with leadership and character.  We are proud of the impact you have made.

Message from Detachment 605 Commander

Welcome to the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 605 Alumni page! Cadre from the Detachment developed this page in the hopes that we can highlight greatness within our active alumni ranks, reflect on the tremendous heritage of this organization, and provide a “behind the scenes” look at what is currently happening within our cadet corps!

Heritage is defined as something “that is or may be inherited”. Like it or not, since you commissioned…you have become “Heritage” for this Detachment! As all of you understand from your years of service in the Air Force, honoring the military heritage of the larger United States Air Force and the smallest tactical squadron within is vital to maintaining an organizational culture that cultivates amazing, innovative, and proud leaders for tomorrow’s Air and Space Forces!

We hope that as we develop this page and subsequent Screaming Blackbird Alumni Association, you provide recommendations to make it the most effective and useful page. Finally, we look forward to seeing you back in Campbell Hall. If you are ever in the area, please take the time to pop in for a visit!
