Aggie Success Academy

The Aggie Success Academy is a challenging and rewarding pre-college summer bridge program scheduled to take place from June 25 to July 31, 2026. This 5–6 week residential experience is designed to help incoming students successfully transition to the university and become acclimated prior to the start of the fall semester. Through participation in the program, students will earn college credit, achieve early academic success, and gain a strong foundation for navigating the campus environment ahead of their peers. The Aggie Success Academy equips students with the skills, resources, and confidence needed to thrive during their first year and throughout their academic journey at North Carolina A&T.

Target Population 


First year students entering the University as an in-state student.
 

Program Participants will:

  • Be housed in a residential community on campus.
  • Take 2 required general education courses.
  • Receive one-on-one tutoring with a Certified Learning Specialist.
  • Attend a series of Academic Workshops to prepare for their first year classes.
  • Attend a series of personal and professional development workshops that include networking opportunities.
  • Be involved in various social activities that promote relationship building and a sense of belonging.
  • Network with NC A&T Faculty, Staff, and Alumni.
  • Reside in a Living and Learning Community throughout their freshman year.
  • Receive mentorship through Mentor Collective during their freshman year.
