Bio

Dr. Thurman Guy is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. He is a tenured Associate Professor in Early Education and Family Studies and Birth-Kindergarten Coordinator in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences within the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCA&TSU). Dr. Guy graduated magna cum laude in three years with a B.S. degree in Child Development and Family Relations and an M.S.degree in Elementary Education from NCA&TSU. He has an M.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Doctorate of Education from the University of North Dakota. Continuing the pursuit of lifelong learning, he completed a fellowship study at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with further studies at NCA&TSU. Dr. Guy holds numerous teaching licenses and endorsements from the State of North Carolina Board of Education
