Bio

Vincent Childress taught Technology Education at the middle school level before earning a PhD in Vocational-Industrial Education from Virginia Tech. He was a visiting assistant professor at Virginia Tech before joining the faculty at North Carolina A&T in 1996. He is a Technology Teacher Educator preparing teachers in Technology, Engineering, and Design Education and in Trade and Industrial Education. Childress has a current teaching license and a current license in Career and Technical Education Director. He now serves as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and Academic Affairs in the College of Science and Technology.
