Bio

Lisa Owens-Jackson, Ph.D., CPA is the Associate Dean of the College of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University. She teaches both financial and managerial accounting in the undergraduate and MBA program. Dr. Owens-Jackson was recognized as the recipient of the 2017 North Carolina Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and North Carolina. Her research concentrates on accounting education and the use of financial and managerial accounting information in governance and decision making. She has presented at the European Accounting Association Congress
