Mechanical Engineering

Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

We offer a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautic and Astronautic Engineering for students who are interested in aerodynamics, aero-propulsion, avionics and aero-structures. An honors program is available for those students with a strong academic background and research interest. Our bachelor’s degrees gives graduates the knowledge, skills, and attributes to be successful in the private sector, government, and non-governmental organizations. Several of our graduates have won research and teaching assistantships to study at prestigious graduate schools.
