Student Internship Program

Application Period September 12, 2023 - March 31, 2024

Cooperative Extension at N.C. A&T is hiring 2024 summer interns!

This enriching program offers 15 students the chance to immerse themselves in various professional realms, including Agriculture, Community and Rural Development, 4-H Youth Development, and Family and Consumer Sciences. Successful candidates will work closely with county agents, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in their chosen field during this 11-week experience.  

Eligibility requirements

  • A full-time sophomore, junior or senior at the time of the internship (May 14 – July 26, 2024) and enrolled for the fall of 2024.
  • Academically qualified with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 based on a 0 scale at the time of application
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Employment dates: May 14 – July 26, 2024
  • Eleven-week internship, 40 hours per week, $15.00 per hour
