Transfer Student Scholarships

The Office of Student Financial Aid is committed to recognizing the academic achievement of incoming transfer students through a variety of scholarships and grants. Prospective students who have met all university requirements for regular admission will be automatically considered. The application for admission to the university serves as the application for transfer scholarships; therefore no separate application is required.

The Office of Student Financial Aid will offer general scholarships to incoming transfer students who have been admitted by May 1st. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) from the institution you are transferring from. This award is open to both in-state and out-of-state residents. The Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) is not required, however strongly encourages to complete.

Award & Process

Recipients will be awarded $1,000 for the academic year. Award notifications begin in March and continue through the end of April. The scholarship award will be disbursed equally between the Fall and Spring semester. This will be a one-time, non-renewable scholarship that may be supported through several sources to include federal, state, or institutional funding.
