The Office of Career Services is so glad to have you back with us, and we look forward to assisting you with all your career development needs.
We have more than 10,000 employers anxious to meet you and more than 23,000 career opportunities that need to be filled by an Aggie! We offer opportunities for you to be in front of employers and recruiters Monday through Friday for exclusive employer engagement events and registration for on-campus and virtual interviews. All you have to do is log in to your Handshake account at https://ncat.joinhandshake.com/login from the comfort of wherever you are located.
Our office is also here to help you grow professionally.Through Handshake, students are able to schedule appointments for résumé reviews, LinkedIn critiques, mock interviews, and other resources that will help you become more marketable to employers. Be on the lookout for our in-person and virtual career fairs Sept. 14 and 15.

career awareness fairs set for sept. 14 and 15
The Office of Career Services at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will host its 48th Annual Career Awareness Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (in-person) and Thursday, Sept. 15, from noon to 6 p.m. (virtual). The Sept. 14 event marks the return of the in-person career fair last held in 2019 and will take place in Corbett Gym.
Take advantage of the opportunity to meet with hundreds of employers and recruiters offering full-time employment, paid internships, co-op opportunities and offers to interview with companies the next day. Business professional attire is strongly recommended for the fair. All classes and majors are welcome! Schedule an appointment on Handshake to have your résumé critiqued.
Last fall, our virtual career awareness fair was cited by Handshake as the largest compared with other fairs that took place on their platform, with 10,000 employer-student connections. Before COVID-19, our fall in-person career fair consisted of more than 3,000 students and more than 200 employers. This year, nearly 200 employers will participate.
Students who want to attend the virtual career fair MUST pre-register to get a spot via Handshake.

graduate school exploration fair Oct. 5
The Office of Career Services will host its annual Graduate School Exploration Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 5. This fair is for students who are interested in pursuing an advanced degree (master’s, Ph.D., law, medical, etc.) and is open to all majors and classifications.
This in-person event, from noon to 3 p.m. in the Deese Ballroom at the Student Center, will provide insight into specific graduate and professional degree programs, such as the application process, tuition and fees. Recruiters from various graduate schools will be present, so take advantage of this event!
