With Spring 2023 commencement quickly approaching, it is important to check off some last-minute reminders:

  1. Graduating seniors, let us know your post-graduation plans. This could include a full-time opportunity, continuing into graduate school, entering the military, volunteering or taking a year off. Seniors who complete the survey by April 28 can receive a gift from OCS while supplies last.
  2. Applied for your first job and now waiting for the interview? Prepare by brushing up on your interview skills with OCS. Schedule your appointment through this link: https://ncat.joinhandshake.com.

Weddie GabrielWeddie Gabriel is a sophomore psychology student and retail researcher through a partnership with Paragon One with Home Depot. He is a part of a select group of historically Black college and university students ranging from Morehouse to Florida A&M.

Gabriel describes his experience with the company as inspiring, especially since he did not realize just how strong of an impact it would have on both his career and everyday life.

“I gained experience from this opportunity like none other I have received during my college career,” he said. “I've gained experience with professional research, and I've learned how to project myself through my work [and] that being professional can still reflect my own ideals and interests.”
