The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will assist students with options for funding from Monday, August 18 to Friday, August 29, 2025 in the Student Center, Room 232. Students will be served in this location between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m..
FAQ From the Office of the Registrar
- My classes were dropped for non-payment this week. What should I do?
You should immediately go to Aggie Access and register for at least 12 credits if you are an undergraduate student for full-time status.Only nine credits are needed for full-time status if you are a graduate student. Registration will reopen Tuesday, August 19, at noon. Please note: No new course registrations can be added after Tuesday, August 26, 2025, 11:59 p.m. - What if the classes I originally had on my schedule are now full?
It is always good to refer to your curriculum guide to see all courses that are needed to graduate. Also, contact your academic advisor or your department chair to make sure that you are on the right track. - I forgot my alternate PIN. I need it to register.
Your PIN may be obtained from your academic advisor or department chair. - What should I do once I finish registering for my classes?
You must immediately plan to make payment arrangements to secure your courses from being dropped.

- What should I do to make payment arrangements?
Consider setting up a payment plan. Enrolling in a payment plan is encouraged if:- Your outside scholarship has yet to be applied.
- You have been selected for verification and have yet to be awarded aid.
- You have yet to receive your SAP Appeal decision.
- You or your parents completed a PLUS or Private Loan within the last three business days.
- When will I know if my financial aid has been applied?
Students are encouraged to monitor their Aggie Access and email for all financial aid updates and communication.
- I am a distance learner living outside of North Carolina. How do I get more information about financial aid?

FAQ From the Office of the Treasurer
- What does it mean when I see a negative balance on my billing statement?
A negative balance means your balance is being satisfied by Financial Aid or other means and you do not need to make any payments or payment arrangements.
- How do I enroll into a payment plan?
First, be sure to use a laptop or desktop computer. Do not use a cell phone. There is a $40 Enrollment Fee due at the time of enrollment. Two payment plans are available:
4-Month Plan
$40 Enrollment Fee + 1st Payment due at the time of enrollment, with the remaining payments due on the first of each month thereafter.
3-Month Plan
$40.00 Enrollment Fee due at enrollment. First payment is due September 1st with remaining payments due on the first of each month thereafter.
Example: If you have a $4,000 balance, the 4-Month Plan would require $1,040 to be paid at the time of set-up. This is the $40 Enrollment Fee plus one fourth of the balance of your bill. Your future installments would be:
- September 1: $1,000
- October 1: $1,000
- November 1: $1,000
Example: For the 3-Month Plan with a $4,000 balance, only the $40.00 Enrollment Fee is due at the time of Setup. Future installments would be:
- September 1: $1,333.34
- October 1: $1,333.34
- November 1: $1,333.34

- Confirmation of Payment Received
- Confirmation of Enrollment in the Payment Plan. This includes payment plan details and installment amounts.
