Cummings High school

March 2022

On March 17, N.C.A&T students Bryan and Brandon Daye visited Cummings High School in Burlington, North Carolina, and introduced students in a career and technical education class to the collegiate and career paths available in transportation and supply chain management. 

 

Throughout North Carolina

March 2021

Because of the COVID pandemic, N.C. A&T students, Winston Griffin, Aliyah McCray, Rhyan Baker, Ashia Vance, and Nicole Lewis conducted two information sessions virtually with high school students and teachers from around the state in March 2021. The online sessions introduced students to the many education and career paths in the transportation and supply chain management areas.

 

Dudley High School 

March 2020

CATM scholars, Aliyah McCray, Kiana Williams, Quadir Donaldson, Marvin Edge and Amanda Gray spoke to Chris Snead's business management class at Dudley High School on March 10th about the transportation and supply chain management curriculums in college and promising job prospects thereafter.

Kayla Curry, Marvin Edge and Patrick Stanley, CATM scholars, talked to Dudley High School juniors and seniors in a Career and Technical Education class about the Summer High School Transportation Institute and the many college and career paths available.

Candice Jones and Trey Cash, both supply chain management seniors, spoke to Christopher Snead’s Career and Technical Education class at Dudley High School.


N.C. A&T STEM Early College

 April 2018

Kristian Conner and Patrick Stanley, both senior supply chain majors at the time, spoke with high school students at N.C. A&T STEM Early College about the Summer Transportation Institute program experience and the transportation and supply chain management education and career opportunities.

December 2018
Kiana Williams, who was then a sophomore supply chain management major, presented to N.C. A&T STEM early college. She talked to a group of 50 high school juniors and seniors about the numerous educational paths available and the varied career options in the transportation industry and supply chain management.
