National First-Generation College Student Week

N.C. A&T and the TRiO Program Office celebrate National First-Generation College Student Week, Nov. 9–13, 2026! This special week recognizes and honors the accomplishments, determination and contributions of first-generation college students, faculty, staff and alumni who are the first in their families to pursue a four-year college degree.

National First-Generation College Student Week raises awareness of these students' unique experiences, challenges and successes, and highlights the importance of building a supportive campus community that promotes student belonging, academic success, persistence and graduation.

Whether you are a first-generation student, faculty or staff member, alumnus, or supporter, we invite you to participate in this exciting week of recognition and celebration.
