This seminar will highlight how computational genomics and biomedical data science can advance our understanding of cancer development and potential gene therapies. Dr. Iacobas will present findings from genomic investigations of surgically removed prostate, kidney, and thyroid tumors, illustrating how genomic data can be acquired, analyzed, and applied to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer.
The guest speaker is Dr. Dr. Dumitru Iacobas, Research Professor & Personalized Genomics Laboratory Director, PVAMU.
