Honors without Borders: AI, Equity, and Empowerment - Lessons from the Philippines for Global Health
The Honors Without Borders series, hosted by the Office of Honors Research, will feature Dr. Romulo de Castro of Far Eastern University, Philippines on Sept. 16, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. EST.
During the virtual presentation, “AI, Equity, and Empowerment: Lessons from the Philippines for Global Health,” Dr. de Castro will discuss how artificial intelligence, equity, and empowerment intersect to address global health challenges while sharing perspectives from the Philippines.
Students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to attend and engage in a discussion that promotes global awareness and cross-cultural learning. Participants may register for the event through the Zoom registration link above.
