4th Annual Aggies READ Festival
The 2026 4th Annual Aggies READ (Reading Empowers Action and Discovery) Book Festival is a family-friendly literacy celebration hosted by the Department of Educator Preparation at the College of Education at N.C. A&T.
This year’s theme, “Read for a Greener Tomorrow,” highlights environmental stewardship with a focus on reading to help protect our planet.
This event supports the leadership development of our Literacy Scholars and other teacher candidates from the Department of Educator Preparation. Taking place on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Proctor Hall (College of Education), the festival features free books and treats, performers, authors and illustrators, music, face painting and interactive literacy activities.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs!
