05/08/2017

The 2016-17 academic year is drawing to a close, and many students are looking toward the job market or graduate/professional school as they prepare to complete their studies at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

On Saturday, May 13, the university will graduate more than 1,300 students from academic disciplines ranging from science, technology, engineering, mathematics, agriculture, business as well as the arts and humanities. Their fascinating stories of achievement are as diverse as their academic interests.

Today and throughout the week, the university will share short stories about a few of this spring’s graduates, highlighting their collegiate careers and future endeavors. While these students represent only a small fraction of the graduating class of 2017, they symbolize the diverse intellectual climate, entrepreneurial spirit, civic engagement and academic excellence that characterizes the A&T experience.
