Lean Six Sigma Certificate Program
The Lean Six Sigma Professional Program is a 5-week Saturday, industry-oriented certificate program designed to help working professionals apply Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) methods and practical improvement tools to real operational and business problems.
Participants learn Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools through lectures, discussions, hands-on exercises, templates, and workplace-focused examples. The program helps participants build practical problem-solving capability, improve process performance, reduce waste and variation, and return to their organizations with tools they can immediately apply.
The program is offered through NC A&T and CEPDAM, with certificate pathways for Yellow & Green Belt and Black Belt.

Certificate Pathways
Participants who successfully complete the 5-week program may receive a Lean Six Sigma Yellow & Green Belt Certificate of Completion and Black Belt Candidate status.
Participants who wish to pursue full Yellow & Green Belt certification complete a workplace-based improvement project after the program and submit a DMAIC project report for review. Full Yellow & Green Belt certification is awarded after the project is completed and approved.
Black Belt certificate pathways may be offered as advanced training and certification options.

Location and Schedule
The program is delivered in person at CEPDAM, 2105 Yanceyville Street, Greensboro, NC.
The program runs for five Saturdays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including lunch. Program cohorts are expected to be offered periodically throughout the year, depending on enrollment. Each cohort requires a minimum number of registered participants to proceed.
