Students expecting to graduate should review whether they are eligible by reviewing the university requirements (see undergraduate student requirements or graduate student requirements). Undergraduate students should also meet with their academic advisor and/or chairperson to discuss progress towards graduation.

How to Apply

Students must apply for each degree through Aggie Access Online. The application for graduation must be submitted by the deadline posted on the academic calendar

Once you are logged in, select Student>Student Records>Apply to Graduate to complete the application. After you submit the application, the graduation fee will appear on your student account.

  • If you receive a 'No curricula available for graduation application' error message, please contact the Registrar's Office at 336-334-7595.

Helpful Hints

  • The graduation fee ($60 first deadline; $80 late deadline) is non-refundable.
  • If you do not complete requirements for the semester for which you applied, you must reapply for graduation in the semester you expect to graduate.
  • Diplomas are mailed out to the address provided on the application approximately 60 days after the commencement ceremony. If your address changes after you submit the application, please contact the Registrar's Office at 336-334-7595 (updating your address in Aggie Access does not automatically update the mailing address you provide).
  • Your name will print on your diploma exactly as it is listed on your application. It will also appear in the commencement program in the same format. The University reserves the right to remove/correct anything deemed as inappropriate.
