BB&T is kicking up its color scheme beyond the traditional “bankers burgundy” and will now include North Carolina  A&T State University’s gold and Aggie blue  at the 915 E. Bessemer Ave. financial center in Greensboro, N.C.

BB&T will hold a ceremony at the Bessemer Ave. facility on Nov.15 at 11 a.m. to unveil the “school spirit” branch. The newly redecorated financial center will prominently feature the school colors, mascot and photos of N.C. A&T creating a college-themed banking experience.

“BB&T is committed to supporting the communities it serves,” said Cantey Alexander, BB&T regional president. “We are especially pleased to showcase North Carolina A&T State University as the newest BB&T spirit branch.”

BB&T will co-brand both inside and outside the branch with Aggie themes including pole signs, a wrapped ATM machine and other the new visual treatments.

BB&T now has ten branches throughout its footprint that have the “school spirit” designs of local colleges and universities.
