William C. Parker Sr. & Vallie Simon Parker Endowed Scholarship

William C. Parker Sr. and Vallie Simon Parker were husband and wife for 51 years. From this union, 14 children were born. William and Vallie were pillars of strength in the community. They encouraged their children, as well as other children in the community, to get an education, be productive in the workforce and give back to the communities from which they came or lived. They were committed to education and demonstrated their support in various ways.

In memory of William C. Parker Sr. and Vallie Simon Parker, this endowed scholarship was established at North Carolina A&T State University to assist students interested in developing a business career.

William C. Parker Sr. & Vallie Simon Parker Endowed Scholarship Fund Criteria

Scholarships or economic grants from the William C. Parker Sr. and Vallie Simon Parker Endowed Scholarship Fund will be awarded to bright young men and women interested in developing or supporting the development of businesses.
• Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students as determined by the Parker Family
• Special consideration will be given to students from Montgomery County, Guilford County, and surrounding counties
