Details: The Graduate Research Engineer Identity Development Program is for COE graduate students pursuing research intensive degrees who are interested in enhancing their critical skills. Please contact your graduate advisor to attend.


 

Engineers Week: Pioneers of Progress

Join the College of Engineering for a celebration of all things engineering and computer science. The five-day celebration, from February 17-21, will consist of workshops, panel discussions, symposia, power breakfasts and lunches, and a host of activities designed to inspire future pioneers of progress at North Carolina A&T and to celebrate future and current engineers and computer scientists.

Program Description: How do you prepare for your interview? Need to work on your interview skills and confidence when speaking to a potential employer? Do you know what your body language is saying during an interview? Is your handshake firm enough, making enough eye contact or too much? Discover information to make sure that you are making a good impression during your interview whether in person or over the phone. Come listen as information is shared regarding how improve your interview experience. Find out what kind of questions you may be asked when interviewing for a job in engineering or computer science and so much more.

Learn how to network properly while being a new employee. Also, discover how to build relationships with the older generation that you may now supervise.
